From Classroom to Career: Enhancing Employability through Soft Skills, Technical Communication, and English Studies
Abstract
In the rapidly evolving global economy, employability depends not only on technical expertise but also on communication abilities, adaptability, and interpersonal competence. This paper explores the role of soft skills, technical communication, and English studies in preparing students for professional success. It argues that English language and literature are not merely academic disciplines but powerful tools for developing critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and effective communication. By integrating these components into higher education, institutions can bridge the gap between classroom learning and workplace expectations. The paper highlights contemporary challenges, pedagogical strategies, and the need for interdisciplinary approaches to enhance employability among graduates.
