Digital Literacy Integration in Education System: An Overview

Abstract

   The traditional teaching is done through delivering information and the students listen lectures and take notes while the modern role of teaching involves boosts the use of emerging technologies to enhance teaching such that it inculcates in students’ mind. The integration of evolving skills has digitalized the education. Digital literacy with the use of all modern techniques is becoming important part of education system. In this paper we have discussed various factor affecting impact of digital literacy on students being it age, gender, social or economic aspect and how digital literacy can benefit students other than educational part. It was concluded that digital literacy not only enhances knowledge dissemination but speeds it up but students from less economic background need to be facilitated.
