Higher Education In The 21st Century – A Critical Analysis
Abstract
The 21st Century has ushered in a new era for higher education marked by rapid technological progress globalization and shifting societal demands. This transformation has led to a paradigm shift from traditional, lecture-based education to more interactive student- centred approaches. Modern Higher education emphasies interdisciplinary learning digital literacy, critical thinking and skill development to prepare students for a complex and competitive global environment. Institutions are increasingly focusing on inclusivity aligning themselves with global development goals. This Research paper explores the evolving vision and challenges of higher education in the 21st century and highlights its pivotal role in shaping informed skilled and responsible global citizens.
